Kevin Harney is a local church pastor, an author, and an international speaker who seeks to help believers grow to love God with greater passion and reach out to the world with the life-changing message of Jesus Christ.  He combines real life experience, humor, and solid biblical teaching in his preaching, leadership, teaching, and writing ministry.

Kevin G. Harney (B.A., Azusa Pacific University; M.Div., Fuller Theological Seminary; D.Min., Western Theological Seminary) is the Lead Pastor of Shoreline Church in Monterey, CA.

Kevin has been married to Sherry for almost four decades and they have three adult sons: Zach (Married to Christine), Josh (Married to Taylor) and Nate (Married to Brynne).  Nate and Brynne are the parents of Coen, Piper, and Isla.  Zach and Christine are parents of Kell and Ronan, In the summer Kevin enjoys golfing and in the winter he loves to snowboard.

 
 
 

Michael Skor is the District Superintendent of the Pacific Southwest District of the Wesleyan Church. As District Superintendent, he gives leadership to over 60 churches across four states. Michael has been in pastoral and non-profit leadership for over 33 years, including leadership in planting four churches.

Prior to becoming a District Superintendent, he was the Lead Pastor of New Hope Wesleyan Church, in Williston, ND where he led the church from 400 to over 1500 in attendance, helped the church become a multi-site church, and planted four churches. He served on a church planting team, as a teaching pastor, and as an Executive pastor in previous churches as well.

His education includes a B.A. from Bartlesville Wesleyan College (now Oklahoma Wesleyan University), and a Master of Divinity from Wesley Seminary at IWU. He serves as Secretary of the Oklahoma Wesleyan University Board of Trustees and chairs the Trusteeship committee. Apart from his love for Jesus, Michael places a high priority and passion on his relationship with his beautiful wife, Kiley, and their two adult children, Brendon and Ian.

 
 

It is an experience that’s designed to refresh & inspire our pastors, their spouses, staff, and lay leaders. We pray you are also encouraged, equipped, and challenged through experiencing this time away. Winter Retreat has free time built in for you to retreat and do something you enjoy, whether that's taking a nap, going on a date with your spouse, exploring the city, team building activities, etc.

Registration includes: access to conference events, two meals (lunch and dinner on Wednesday), conference kit/bag, access to discounted hotel rate at hotel within walking distance (hotel cost not included in registration).

We have negotiated a discounted block of rooms, this hotel is within a few minute walk of Shoreline Church (breakfast & parking included). Prices range from $116-$126 per night.

Monday 2/10 and Thursday 2/13 they are offering the same group rate if you would like to extend your stay.

Hotel 2: Embassy Suites by Hilton Seaside

(1441 Canyon Del Rey Blvd, Seaside, CA 93955)

We have negotiated a discounted block of rooms; this hotel is about a 15-minute drive. Rooms are $244 a night.
