We all have situations and challenges in our lives that tend to reduce our confidence. There are those areas of our life that are our versions of a ‘kid pitch.’ We know we can swing the bat. We have been effective in other areas.

There is an individual who posts on FaceBook under the heading: Authentic Leadership: Inside The Mind of Dr. Patton. On one of this person’s post they provided “8 Rules For Success.”

What do you think? Does success make you happy? Or are you happy without success? I would assume your answer to this question would be based a great deal on how you define either of these two. To look at it differently, you might wonder: Does success make you happy, or does happiness make you more likely to succeed?
